Shay Baca is an up-and-coming female DJ, located in Portland, OR. Within an EDM scene, she is best known for playing a variety of house styles, with bass and hip-hop being a core focus. She is known to play "Booty Shakin Music" with samples from popular songs, in order to encourage people to get on the dance floor and sing along. In addition to her EDM styles, she also has a creative ability to play hip-hop, rap, and r&b, while incorporating new school and old school tracks. 

Throughout Shay Baca’s music career, she has carved out a niche for herself as a DJ, promoter, and event planner, in order to create an overall entertainment experience. Overall, her goal is to bring more people together by blending a variety of genres and enhancing the music experience for a variety of listeners.

She has gained showcase experience at venues like 45 East, Oregon Country Fair, Rainbow City, Sip-n-spin, Mighty Moes, Big Legrowski, Opaline, etc. She has also been a residential DJ at places like the Margarita Factory, Capitol Bar, 2nd Street Bar, Spark Nightclub, Forbidden Nightclub, etc. Lastly, she has experience as an event DJ for the Summer Night Market, as well as for several private and corporate events.
